Tallinn, Estonia, October 8, 2018. Brazilian Volleyball legend Gilberto Godoy Filho, better known as Giba, recently paid a visit to Estonia following an invitation he received from the President of the Estonian Volleyball Federation and CEV Vice President, Mr Hanno Pevkur.

Olympic champion and three-time world champion Giba visited the Baltic country last week to deliver a lecture to Estonian Volleyball coaches and have a very special, ‘warm’ meeting with the young pupils from the Volleyball-crazy Kiili School.

Giba, who is the President of the FIVB Athletes Commission, used this opportunity to have a chat with representatives of the Estonian media as well, giving interviews to the local major newspapers and to the national television.

The workshop specifically addressed to coaches included theoretical and practical sessions, with the participants expressing their satisfaction at the content as well as at the interaction with the Brazilian Volleyball legend.

Giba travelled to Estonia straight from Turin where he attended the final stage of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship as a pundit for Polish broadcaster Polsat.
