Vilnius, Lithuania, July 21, 2017. The CEV-EEVZA Satellite Vilnius started on Friday with the qualification round and four teams from Germany, Belarus and Belgium eventually progressing to the Main Draw starting on Saturday morning.

Volleyball festival ‘connects’ 300 kids with star players of Lokomotiv

Novosibirsk, Russia, July 20, 2017. When you say that Volleyball connects people, this is really true! On Wednesday, July 19 as many as 300 young kids attended a sports festival held in Novosibirsk where they could spend time with many of the star players from the local team of Lokomotiv, such as Nikolay Pavlov, Lukas Divis, Ivan Lukyanenko, Valentin Golubev, Artem Smolyar, Alexey Rodichev – with coach Evgeny Mitkov and statistician Ivan Pukh in attendance as well. The special guest of the event was Mrs Yuliya Bragina, the Deputy Head of the Department for Social Development at the Russian Railways.
