Polish boys – the Champions of EEVZA

National Team of Poland won the tournament of Eastern European Volleyball Zonal Association for the National youth boys’ teams (born 1993-1994), that took place in Legionowo city (Poland) in term of 20th-22nd of November 2009. In the last, most exciting match Poland defeated Russia 3:1.
- For the first time I saw my boys so determined. The magic of great Russia does the job. Our assets in the last match were block and serve - said Maciej Zendeł, the coach of Poland.
Russia National Team took the second place in the competitions, while Estonia National Team was the third and Latvia the fourth team of the tournament.
